1. Core Rules
Two simple principles apply everywhere on Qlanzo:
Have fun — but not at the expense of others
You are here to enjoy yourself, and so is everyone else. You may not:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or demean other users
- Engage in hate speech targeting any person or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
- Intentionally ruin someone else's experience — in chat or in games
- Encourage or incite real-world violence, self-harm, or suicide
Be yourself — but keep it chill
Authenticity is great; hostility is not. Content is not allowed if it:
- Is illegal, obscene, sexually explicit, or pornographic
- Exposes private or confidential information about another person
- Impersonates another user, public figure, or Qlanzo staff in a deceptive way
- Is spam — repetitive, unsolicited, or disruptive messages
2. Chat Guidelines
Whether you're in a public room or a private conversation, the same standards apply:
- No explicit or sexual content — keep conversations appropriate for all ages
- No sharing of others' personal information — never post someone else's phone number, address, or private details
- No spam — do not send the same message repeatedly or flood the chat
- No content that promotes violence or self-harm — this includes glorifying, encouraging, or making light of it
- Use the room's language — in language-specific rooms, chat in the designated language so everyone can participate
Room leaders and moderators may enforce stricter standards in specific channels. Follow their instructions.
3. Gaming Conduct
Games are meant to be fun and fair. You may not:
- Cheat or use third-party tools to gain an unfair advantage in any game
- Win-trade or manipulate rankings — deliberately losing or coordinating outcomes to game the leaderboard
- Buy or sell accounts for real money or in-app value
- Exploit bugs — if you find a bug that gives an unfair advantage, report it rather than abusing it
In-app scores, coins, and rewards have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged outside of Qlanzo.
4. Profiles & Content
These guidelines apply to your username, profile photo, bio, and any other content you share:
- Your username and profile photo must not be sexually explicit, hateful, or impersonating
- Do not use your profile to advertise external services or spam other users
- Content you post remains your responsibility — make sure it does not violate the rights of others (copyright, privacy, etc.)
5. Reporting & Enforcement
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, please report it immediately:
- Use the Report button on any message or user profile — it takes seconds and goes directly to our moderation team
- You can also email [email protected] for urgent or detailed reports
- Our moderation team reviews every report and acts within 24 hours
- Reported content is flagged immediately; action (removal and account review) follows within 24 hours
Blocking Abusive Users
You can block any user directly from their profile. When you block someone:
- Their content disappears from your feed immediately
- They can no longer contact you or see your activity
- Our team is automatically notified and may take additional action against the blocked account
Consequences
Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, enforcement actions include:
- Warning — a reminder of the rules for minor or first-time offences
- Content removal — objectionable content is removed immediately upon review
- Temporary chat restriction — losing the ability to chat for a defined period
- Permanent account ban — applied to serious, repeated, or egregious violations; the offending user is ejected from the platform
Violations involving illegal content — particularly anything related to child safety — are reported to the appropriate authorities and result in an immediate permanent ban. See our Child Safety Standards for details.
